Spiritual Warfare

Lest Satan take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11

Satan desires to gain an advantage over every believer and can come disguised as a heavenly messenger. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).

We must pray everyday asking God to help us identify situations where Satan is trying to gain a foothold in our life. Satan will disguise himself in many ways and include himself in many good things to gain access to our life. Remember Satan has no power over those who have given their life to Christ. The only power Satan has with Christians is in continuous Sin or immoral behavior, which means we are allowing Satan in our life.

Remember, Jesus' victory at Calvary assures our victory today. Then one day Satan will be confined to hell, which was prepared for him and all his demons.

The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and false prophets are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:10

Pray today that God will identify any continuous Sin or immoral behavior that could allow Satan to gain access to your life. Ask God to strengthen you today and to prepare you for spiritual warfare.
