Know and Do

I know that working out in this gym will produce results in my body and improve my personal fitness. But simply knowing and not actually using the gym equipment will not produce the results I desire.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:22

I can hang out in the gym all day, stand near the equipment all day, and even touch it without receiving any results. I must USE IT!

As a Christian to know God's word and commands without following them is just like not lifting the weights. Christ's sheep are marked in the ear and foot; they hear his voice and they follow him.

Prayer: God help me to equally apply what I am learning in your word.
